Lord of the Lost wins German ESC preliminary round

The Hamburg rock band Lord of the Lost will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest. The final will take place on 13 May in Liverpool.

The rock band Lord of the Lost represents Germany at this year's Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). With their song Blood & Glitter, the group from the Hamburg district of St. Pauli was able to prevail in the ESC preliminary round on Saturday night clearly ahead of the party pop singer Ikke Hüftgold. A total of eight applicants competed for the show Unser Lied für Liverpool (our song for Liverpool) in Cologne. Lord of the Lost will now be on stage at the ESC final on 13 May in Great Britain.
