After the pandemic made live concerts with an audience almost impossible for a long time, the intensive interaction between stage and audience has become all the more palpable and tangible at LACRIMOSA's post-Corona concerts. As a result, the band began to record some of their concerts in order to capture these unique experiences and make them accessible to those who have not been able to experience any of these concerts since.In the booklet of the CD, which is equipped with many photos of these concerts, Tilo Wolff writes: "We recorded the songs for this live album on beautiful nights on the stages of the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, during a tour through Mexico, as well as in Glauchau, Germany. The last song "Tränen der Existenzlosigkeit" was part of our streaming concert in 2020, when audience concerts could not take place. We performed this song in an empty hall in Düsseldorf, and it had to be on this album to make the special thing even more tangible, that we could get together with you, our great audience, again in the following years. That's why you can be heard wonderfully loud on all other recordings! Thank you very much for that!"

Lacrimosa will release a new live album on October 27th. The album will reflect the incredible power after the pandemic, and it will also include a bonus song from the streaming concert in Düsseldorf.
"You probably remember the terrible time of the pandemic, when it was hardly possible to play live concerts in front of an audience. Since then we have had the opportunity to play some concerts again and the intensity of you during the concerts has been so great. So we started recording and recording the concerts. On October 27th, a new live album from Lacrimosa will be released.I'm really looking forward to it because this live album tackles the time after the pandemic. And we even have a song on it on the live album from our concert in Düsseldorf, the streaming concert. It's a document of the times, this live album. It will be released on October 27."
And finally on our little round trip we will perform on November 12th in Santiago de Chile at the Teatro Coliseo! We are really looking forward to seeing you all!
From Colombia we continue to Ecuador: on November 9th it's "Leidenschaft in Quito" when we perform there in the Centro Convenciones! Another reason to look forward into the future!

The legendary HELL & HEAVEN Festival in Toluca, Mexico invited us! In addition to artists such as Guns n’ Roses, Billy Idol, Muse and many others, we will spread our unmistakable, lacrimosa-esque atmosphere at this festival on November 4th, 2023!
Recorded with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg, “Fassade” is an outstanding work within LACRIMOSA’s discography! The three-part title track is spread over the album with a total length of over 22 minutes, framing classics such as “Liebesspiel” or “Warum so tief?”, as well as one of the most popular tracks in the band’s entire history, the legendary “Der Morgen danach”.
On September 8th, 2023, this special work will be released for the first time in 22 years as a coloured double LP in a gatefold on vinyl!

We had a nice conversation with Lacrimosa at the Plage Noire Festival, which we present to you in the new issue.
The rock band Lord of the Lost represents Germany at this year's Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). With their song Blood & Glitter, the group from the Hamburg district of St. Pauli was able to prevail in the ESC preliminary round on Saturday night clearly ahead of the party pop singer Ikke Hüftgold. A total of eight applicants competed for the show Unser Lied für Liverpool (our song for Liverpool) in Cologne. Lord of the Lost will now be on stage at the ESC final on 13 May in Great Britain.
The band Lord Of The Lost wants to go to the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Great Britain. With the song "Blood & Glitter" they compete in the German preliminary round "Unser Lied für Liverpool" (our Song for Liverpool) on March 3rd.
Lord Of The Lost is a band from Hamburg, Germany, founded in 2009. The band consists of singer and guitarist Chris Harms, guitarist Pi Stoffers, bassist Klaas Helmecke, multi-instrumentalist Gared Dirge and drummer Niklas Kahl. In their long band history, there is only one constant: the courage to change. New facets provide their sound again and again elements of industrial rock, gothic metal, glam, wave and pop.
At home on the road
Live performances belong to Lord Of The Lost like mud to Wacken Open Air or weird costumes to M'era Luna. On the latter, Lord Of The Lost played a concert together with an orchestra last year - as The Lord Of The Lost Ensemble. On their extensive tours, they also regularly perform at festivals. In 2022, they accompanied heavy metal legends Iron Maiden as special guests on 18 shows in 16 countries throughout Europe. This was followed by their own six-week "Homecoming" tour, the biggest and most successful European tour in the band's history.
Of course, an extensive report on this year's Wave-Gotik-Treffen (2022) should not be missing! Several editors were on the road in Leipzig on the Whitsun weekend to report on the shows of acts such as Lacrimosa, Aesthetic Perfection, Welle:Erdball, IAMX, VNV Nation, Gary Numan and Lacrimas Profundere.
